So, it’s come to my attention that life does not go on forever, and that maybe we should be acting like that is true… rather than just ignoring it. Accordingly, the following are things that I would like to do during my lifetime, which I will be jumpstarting:

  1. Run a popular blog – DONE
  2. Run a marathon – especially for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
  3. Drive coast to coast
  4. Drive Route 66
  5. Drive north along the Mississippi River
  6. Meet a president – DONE x2
  7. See a tornado
  8. Become vegan – DONE
  9. Learn to play the guitar
  10. Learn to play the piano
  11. Sleep overnight in  a car
  12. White water rafting
  13. Parasailing
  14. Hang gliding
  15. Take voice lessons – sort’ve DONE
  16. Climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower
  17. Go to the top of the Space Needle in Seattle
  18. Visit Alaska
  19. Go to Loch Ness, Scotland
  20. Visit South Africa
  21. Drink beer at Oktoberfest
  22. Ride a free bike in Copenhagen, Denmark
  23. Hike the Swiss Alps
  24. Learn jiujitsu
  25. Fly in a helicopter
  26. Learn sign language
  27. Visit a castle in England
  28. Fly first class
  29. Backpack through Europe
  30. Run on the Great Wall of China
  31. Eat authentic Thai food in Thailand
  32. Climb the rocks of Petra, Jordan
  33. Watch the Aurora Borealis
  34. Go on a safari in the Serengeti
  35. Climb one of the world’s Seven Summits
  36. See the last standing Wonders of the World, the Great Pyramid of Giza.
  37. Explore Machu Picchu
  38. Visit Panama
  39. Visit every country in Central America (already been to Guatemala)
  40. Participate in a Carnival parade in Brazil
  41. Go to Mardi Gras in NOLA
  42. See the penguins in Argentina
  43. Scuba dive in the Great Barrier Reef.
  44. Surf
  45. Visit all 50 states and DC (already been to: NY, MA, VT, NH, ME, CT, PA, NJ, DE, MD, DC, VA, KY, MO, LA, MS, AL, FL, TX)
  46. Skydive
  47. Hood to Coast relay
  48. Go skinny-dipping at midnight – DONE
  49. Watch the launch of the space shuttle
  50. Be an extra in a film/tv
  51. Make love on a forest floor
  52. Be a member of the audience in a TV show – DONE
  53. Plant a tree – DONE
  54. Visit the Senate and the House of Representatives
  55. Learn to ballroom dance – DONE
  56. Ride the Trans-Siberian Express across Asia
  57. Sit on a jury (unlikely, but still possible!)
  58. Write the novel I thought up

  60. See a lunar eclipse

    I love your list. I’m a HUGE fan of lists and this one inspires me to add more things to my bucket list 🙂
